REFUND POLICY

Orders that are initiated through our website with a 10% refundable deposit will be fully refundable between the time it was placed and the order confirmation call.

Projects will be initiated once the complete 50% deposit is received. Each project is built to order and is therefore particular to your specific build. Due to this built to order circumstance the order cannot be canceled after the first 50% payment is made. There will be a 30% restocking fee for all cancellations after the 50% deposit is made and we have initiated your build. 

Pre-Orders

If you have placed a pre-order with a deposit for an item that has a long order queue or lead time our process is the same. We will follow up the 10% refundable deposit with an order confirmation call. After the call we will accept the 40% remaining deposit for the pre-order. Once that deposit is submitted we will start processing the order and there will be a 30% restocking fee for cancellations. 

Returns

If you have taken delivery of your system and want to return it for any reason to be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at info@tinywattssolar.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. If damages occurred during shipping it is very important to capture photos at the time the product is delivered. This will let us know it is the fault of the shipping company and we can file a claim with them to cover the cost of the damages. 

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method with the 30% restocking fee applied. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
