If you can, this is your kit! The Tiny Watts 5.0 is our most popular van power center. It's truly the perfect amount of power for a weekend getaway, an extended trip, or full-time living for the mindful power user!

    This power center will accept up to 1000W of solar power! In the Tiny Watts 5.0 van power kit you'll find a fully integrated Victron system with the main components being: a 3000W Victron inverter/charger, Victron Smart BMS 24V 5.12kWh lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery bank (400ah equivalent). Victron 360W DC to DC alternator charger or you can select the option to have a second alternator to recharge completely in just a few hours of driving.

    The Tiny Watts 5.0 solar power kit can run a 120V air conditioner for ~2-4 hours or a 12/24V DC air conditioner (recommended) for 6-8 hours. If you want to keep your furry friends cool for a few hours and are ok running one high-powered kitchen appliance at a time then this is the perfect fit for you. If you want to have a longer run time for an air conditioner for overnight use (12-16 hours) then head over to our Tiny Watts 10 power kit for a level up!

    Add A Secondary Alternator (3000W)

    For faster charging, you have the option to add a 24V secondary alternator, which allows you to recharge your battery bank within 2.5-3 hours of driving from empty!

    Please note to add the secondary alternator, the 'add second alternator' option must be selected. The second alternator price is an additional $3,500.00.

    We lived in our van for 4 years and the Tiny Watts 5.0 was a luxury, cooking on an induction cooktop, running our electric kettle for coffee and throwing pizzas in our toaster oven. We didn't think much about power as it was the perfect amount for our everyday power needs and for most people it truly is. You just have to be ok making coffee first and then cooking breakfast as the 3000W inverter has 2400W continuous output, but hey, we’re camping in a van! If you want to run more than one 1800W appliance at a time, for example dual induction cooktop and a toaster oven then check out our Tiny Watts 10 kit. Take the comforts of home wherever you go and enjoy yourself off the grid with the Tiny Watts 5.0 power system!

    Add A Second Alternator

    With the second alternator, you'll get everything in the standard Tiny Watts 5.0 PLUS a dedicated 24V secondary alternator for up to 150A 3000W of charging while driving and ~1800W at idle.

    Tiny Watts Order Process

    Once you place your order and make your deposit payment, we'll be in touch to schedule a time to discuss your project and make sure you've got the right power system for your setup. You'll have the opportunity to ask any questions you have and update your selections if you need to before we finalize your order. Don't worry, if for some reason you need to cancel your order, your deposit payment is fully refundable.
    Step One

    Place your order and make your deposit payment on our website.

    Step Two

    Talk with a Tiny Watts team member to finalize your order. With your order finalized, you'll submit 40% of your total cost to initiate your build.

    Step three

    You'll receive your Phase 1 kit and we'll get your build underway. Once your kit is ready to ship, we'll send an invoice for the remaining 50% and send your kit out to you when payment has been made.

    Install your kit and enjoy solar freedom on all your adventures with your Tiny Watts 5.0!
